IT Power Platform Specialist

Location: Dartford, Kent OR Manchester (Sale)

Are you an experience Power Platform Specialist? Can you work in a Data and Analytics environment? Then you could be the ideal candidate for this opportunity. Our team operates as a centre for excellence of Power Platform Solutions. The role will focus on Power BI, Power Apps & Power Automate, supporting technical and business teams.

Can you deliver governance, design and deployment of standards to support the Power Platform Lead? You will be;

• Establishing and evolving Power Platform governance, including application life cycle management; development standards, guidelines and guardrails; deployment standards; corporate branding; and certification.
• Identifying opportunities to extend the Power Platform toolset and components to meet business requirements.
• Providing design assurance for visualisations built by product development teams.
• Keeping up to date of the Microsoft releases and identify opportunities to leverage within the business.

Can you support the administration of the Platforms? including: Management of Power BI & Power Platform Admin Portals a settings, creation and management of Power BI workspaces and Power Platform environments, management of On-Premise data gateways, data sources and management of premium capacity usage.

Do you have the following knowledge and skills?

• Extensive experience across the Microsoft Power Platform; Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate etc
• Experience in driving & supporting adoption of the Power Platform within a large organisation
• Extensive experience of Power BI dataflow, dataset, report and app development and support
• Experience developing new Power Apps model and canvas driven apps, including the use of Dataverse as a datasource.
• Automating business processes with Microsoft Power Automate.
• Experience with API or Rest services integrations
• Good working knowledge of DAX and SQL
• Azure Platform knowledge welcomed
• Experience working on agile projects
• Strong analytical skills ability to translate complex business requirements in a solid advice to the customer

Desired Qualifications

• Microsoft Certified and/or undergraduate degree in related field.
