The role of Recruitment and Resourcing Assistant will support your development into a well-rounded recruitment expert. With support from a team of highly skilled recruiters, you will learn how to search for the best candidates, promote the Laing O'Rourke brand and opportunities in the right way.

Responsibilities:

The role will focus more on supporting the team with searching for candidates, candidate attraction/marketing, calling applicants from adverts, interviewing scheduling, market intel and support with the onboarding process.

  • Sourcing candidates from various avenues such as job jobs, LinkedIn, referrals, internal database and events.
  • Select and screen suitable applicants who have come in through the careers portal and advertising.
  • Interviewing candidates and checking suitability via phone screening, face to face and MS Teams calls.
  • Support Resourcing Advisors and Managers to prioritise positions and secure candidates for each role.
  • Build long-lasting candidate relationships to enable a memorable recruitment experience for the candidate.
  • Create talent pools to enable faster and less reactive recruitment on difficult to fill positions.
  • Provide an excellent onboarding experience with communication and candidate relationship building.
  • Keep up to date administration on notes, tracking of project resource plans
  • Assist with administration of requisitions, candidate queries in the resourcing inbox and general ad-hoc administrative support.
