Principal Commissioning Manager (4431)

Are you a senior commissioning manager looking to work for a company that has a major presence in nearly every sector in the construction industry? Do have experience of working on nuclear or highly regulated projects?

Then our in-house MEP Engineering business, Crown House Technologies, is the company for you.  We are looking for an experienced senior commissioning manager to join the team on our Hinkley Point C HBX scheme, which is going to be the offices and control centre for the new Hinkley Point C nuclear power station.

What will the role look like?

  • Responsibility for the commissioning of all Building Services Systems and Controls on major flagship projects.
  • Taking the project from handover through design, manufacture, installation, commissioning, and soft landing period. Following CIBSE Code M procedures
  • Managing and procuring sub-contractor packages, as well as planning and overseeing all commissioning activities and issuing documentation.
  • Responsibility for the delivery and handover of complex MEP systems
  • Overall responsibility for health and safety management on all managed projects.
  • Working in a high pressure and fast-moving environment.

What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • CSA CM3 or equivalent experience.
  • Proven track record of commissioning management in the construction industry with experience in nuclear facilities.
  • Experience in producing and managing a programme of works.
  • Significant experience working to budgets of £0.5m - £5m.
  • Experience of Pre-Commissioning Chemical Cleaning, BSRIA BG29 .
  • Experience of managing health and safety in a construction environment.
