Executive Secretary - 1 year Fixed Term Contract

At Laing O'Rourke we are recruiting an Executive Secretary who ensures every task is undertaken with great care and attention to detail. An Executive Secretary who can be adaptable in order to meet the demands of the role.

The Opportunity:

To provide strong secretarial support to the team of Pre-Construction Leaders with particular emphasis on the need to provide accurate and well formatted documentation to the highest standard to support the brand of the business.

What will the role look like?

  • Provide exceptional, efficient and effective secretarial support to the Pre-Construction Leaders with our Clients & Marketing area. Co-ordinate day to day activities with their teams and key stakeholders.
  • Communicate professionally with external key stakeholders and liaise effective with internal teams in all areas of our business, building strong collaborative relationships and a wide network of support.
  • Contribute to the preparation of information packs, drawing from dashboard data, including graphics, charts and trend analysis.
  • Manage sensitive and confidential data appropriately.
  • Arrange and prepare for meetings/telephone and video conferences.
  • Manage diaries and diary changes effectively.
  • Professional but strong gate keeping to protect Leaders time and delegating where appropriate and right to do so.
  • Arrange complex travel, accommodation and itineraries and inevitably changes.
  • Able to take, record and deliver accurate messages.
  • Collaboratively support the wider People function (HR).
