BMS Commissioning Engineer (5104)

We are looking for an experienced BMS commissioning engineer to join the team on on our data centre project based in the Dagenham area of London.

Role Overview
- Work as part of the project delivery team reporting the BEMS Project Manager
- Read and understand the BMS scope and the interaction and relation with all M&E specifications
- Use standard documents to produce Schedule of Deliverables, Interface Matrix, Network Architecture Drawings, Functional Design Specifications, Points Schedules, Technical submittals, RFI's, etc
- Issue design information to panel manufactures and review panel wiring diagrams for accuracy
- Understand, oversee and manage production of BEMS software and graphics
- Assist the commissioning and point to point testing and Commission Control Panels (CP) to monitor and control mechanical systems
- Ensure any project handover documentation is managed to ensure it is ready at handover
- Ensuring handover of fully operational BEMS Systems
- Adhere to all company policies & procedures, particularly to health & safety
Manage the commissioning of the BEMS system and the interaction with M&E systems, including but not limited to:
- Mechanical Systems
- Air
- Hydraulic
- Electrical Systems
- Energy Monitoring and Metering
- Lighting
- Fire
- Security
- Smart technologies
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications (full electrical apprenticeship or equivalent)
- Proven track record of delivering BEMS systems
- Exceptional technical knowledge of BEMS
- Experience working with BACNET and or Modbus
