Job Title: Graduate Supply Chain Sustainability Assistant
We're looking for bright and committed graduates who will bring energy, new ideas and a fresh perspective to help us become the recognised leader and transform the construction and engineering industry.
Role Overview
As part of the Sustainability function, you will be working closely alongside and shadowing a more experienced member of the team, supporting with data collection, reporting, and supply chain engagement.
Whilst under supervision, the role will include working within working groups, engaging, and communicating across functions to ensure that the requirements of ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement are embedded, implemented and adhered to.
Key Deliverables and Accountabilities
- Assisting the sustainability function
- Implementation of ISO 20400 Sustainable Procurement
- Undertaking and supporting monthly reporting, reviewing opportunities to streamline reporting from single data sources.
- Assisting with the preparation of supply chain and sustainable procurement best practise examples and case studies
- Engaging with the supply chain sustainability school.
- Researching circular economy opportunities.
- Keeping abreast of modern slavery risks within the supply chain.
- Promoting sustainability initiatives and preparation of communication materials.
- Supply chain sustainability product trial opportunities
Location
UK based
Preferred Degree Subjects
Sustainable business/procurement, Procurement and supply chain management, Environmental management or a Science.
Professional Accreditation
Working towards CIPS and/or Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or similar social sustainability related membership. Institute of Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability (icrs.info)

We are looking for graduates who meet the following criteria:
- Eligible to work in the UK with a valid work permit if applicable
- Full mobility as you may be required to relocate for your role
- Strong numeracy and literacy skills
- A degree course with a clear route to professional accreditation
- Your degree classification should be 2:2 or higher
