Job title: Structural Steel Work Fabricator/Welder Apprentice

Location: Oldbury

What is Structural Steel Work Fabricator/Welder?

Structural steel work is a frame or platform that is connected or pinned into part of a structure or building. The frames are normally used to house mechanical and electrical services forming the energy and water source of a new build but can also be used as a fundamental part of the building or even a simple walkway. The skills needed to cut, form, and assemble these frames from stock lengths of steel and the process of permanently joining these parts together are undertaken by fabricator welders.
